"PLUSH" MOVIE HAND PUPPET

I was hired to create a pair of hand puppets that were featured in the movie "Plush." This movie was played in theaters across  country and directed by Christine Hardwicke, the director of "Twilight",  Oscar winning "Thirteen" and "The Lords of Dogtown."

BEAR CONE PUPPET

Cone puppets are set inside decorative cones. The puppeteer can pop the puppet in and out of the cone and swirl to make the puppet dance. The head and hands are sculpted with clay. Body made with wire so the arms can move. Costume hand sewn using vintage and new fabric.

DARK WOOD THEATRE

This large scale puppet theatre was created for the Modular Pod Show at the OZ gallery in Nashville. All the pieces in this show were made so that patrons could crawl through and interact with the art work. I created a puppet theatre with carved and painted wood. The puppets were made from clay and fabric. I won an award for the best piece in its  category.
